The International Congress on Women of Influence was held in Tehran with the participation of over 300 foreign guests from across the world including from China, Australia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Pakistan, Cameroon, Serbia, Armenia, Sweden, Bulgaria, South Africa, Syria, Lebanon, and Russia.

At the sideline of the congress which was censored by those claiming to support the rights and status of women, ten bilateral MOUs   were signed between different bodies with the cooperation of other countries.

An exhibition on the works and outputs of Iranian women were also put to display with the presence of many women entrepreneurs who are active in various fields from different walks of life which were admired by the foreign guests.

The participation of large number of women elites and influential women from all parts of the world at high-ranking levels indicated the global trust to the Islamic republic of Iran despite all the widespread negative propaganda.

This congress endeavored to benefit from women’s maximum capacity world-wide in order to promote their influence as part of an active, practical and result- based diplomacy and introduce a new model to the women around the world.
