At the meeting entitled “From Mainstreaming the Feminine Revolution to the Reality of Feminine Hype” it was said: “None of the feminist solutions are effective for solving women’s issues”

A specialized meeting was held entitled: “ From mainstreaming feminine revolution to the reality of feminine hype” hosted by the general office of the international affairs of the vice -presidency for women and family affairs in cooperation with the center for women and family studies department of Tehran university, ministry of justice, institute for protection of women’s rights, the international society of women followers of divine religions and Al-Zahra university with representatives from more than 9 different countries. In the first session of the meeting Dr. Khazali vice-president for women and family affairs described the recent protests the result of tough combined and cognitive warfare where the enemy tried to toxify the public opinion through false claims and widespread propaganda but fortunately, our women with full awareness stood firm against all those conspiracies and will continue to do so due to their genuine identity and will overcome their deception.

She stressed that the western states wish to underrate the voice of Iran at international communities and to dominate a single voice i.e., only allowing one voice to be heard that is, only from their side, preventing other voices which reveal the truth   and the pressures resulting from sanctions and ignoring the women’s rights at international communities to be heard. Here we need a campaign for clarification so as to enable the voices of those women who have been oppressed in the name of freedom and in the name of woman but were oppressed and victimized to be heard by the entire world.

Dr. Karimi, director general of international affairs department of vice-presidency for women and family affairs while congratulating the birth anniversary of Lady Zainab, the role model for wisdom and intellect described the recent events in the country a lineup of the void and evil with all its might against the frontiers of the truth and emphasized that  the issue of women and the slogan of women is only a pretext within the frontiers of the right and wrong. To their views those countries who claim to be defending the human rights and women’s rights are in actual fact the greatest examples of violators of human rights.

The meeting was followed by other speakers from Australia, Pakistan, Germany, Iraq, Algeria, Indonesia, Nigeria, Afghanistan and Iran who addressed the meeting with their viewpoints. Dr. Shadmani, faculty member of …. University , with a flash back to the participation  of women during the constitution revolution, the tobacco campaign and the Islamic revolution in Iran in the last century  described the current situation as: “We are now involved in a complicated combined war,  a strategy that includes classic war, cultural war and the cultural -media clash using every symmetric and asymmetric instrument to  damage the Islamic Republic of Iran. What we see today is an organized violence which aims to move towards a social radicalism. Therefore, we can call this a feminine chaos, not meaning that a large portion of the protestors are women but the slogans are more feminized.

A researcher from Australia referring to scientific research regarding the association between Hijab and the mental health of women in the world said that based on the results of such research regarding the positive impact of Hijab on the peace of mind and safety of women, hijab can be recommended not only for Muslim women but also non- Muslim women. In her opinion, the beauty standards that are promoted through the media are totally western and forcing such standards has led many women especially young girls to face many challenges with regards to their phantasm towards their body. Hijab provides less importance towards the beauty standards and makes the person to have a more positive view towards herself.

A specialist from Afghanistan stated that the power and authority of a woman is the result of her modesty, added: “With Hijab you are like a queen who has a fortress that not everyone is allowed to intrude. None of the feminist prescriptions for solving the women’s issues is effective. What is now needed most is modesty and purity. We are now in the midst of a strong encounter with the western evil- hegemonic civilization which works based on profusion and supremacy.  Our encounter with the western civilization is not over a few meters of fabric who some people choose for their hijab but it is a confrontation against our monotheist culture which they have planned against us.

A researcher from Algeria called women the heart of a society.  She remarked that for over 130 years, Algeria was occupied by France and they tried very hard to remain.  But according to their own claims their failure was that they could not penetrate the heart of Algeria that is, they could not influence the Algerian women.

Dr. Yazdian, faculty member of Tehran university believed that the enemy has targeted families and stated: “We should have trained the families on how to keep their connection with their children when using virtual teachings during the pandemic and to train them based on the Islamic -Iranian teachings. Today, some of the behaviors of the students has no harmony with the Iranian culture.

A female German activist said that in Germany the traditional customs have been intertwined with the religious teachings and this has led to the Islamic feminist movements development; we should inform the women observing Hijab to avoid defending this feminist movement. From her view, when instances of violation of human rights occur across the world they are not reflected from Iran’s media and lack of correct data has led the youth and young Iranians to have a wrong and idealistic image of the west.
