While underscoring that the women around the world came to acquaintance with the achievements of Iranian women through the congress the vice -president for women and family affairs reminded on the interaction and agreements made between Iran and the representatives from various countries in different areas.

Her tweet reads:

“ We bid farewell to the guests of the international congress. Most of them spend 1-3 days and some spent more than three days in Iran and though it was a short time they we are all impressed by the achievements and progress of Iranian women in their visit.”

The short term and long- term objectives of the congress:

1. Introducing Iranian women’s achievements
2.  Creating a multilateralist approach towards women issues at international levels
3. Holding economic interactions for export of women made products
4. Long term programs for interaction and forming synergy among the influential women across the world

 

Some of the achievements of the international congress are:

 

1. Women from around the world got acquainted with the achievements of women in Iran and visited knowledge -based companies run by Iranian women who worked in the field of technology transfer  and export of products to a number of countries
2. Forming an international union of influential women and setting up a secretariat in the I.R. of Iran.
3.  Agreement on holding international festivals on women in various areas such as sports, arts, cultural and scientific activities. The festivals on women sports and women films will be held soon.
4. Establishing a fund on innovation and development at international level to support the newly emerged companies and the scientific activities of women elites

(Three of the foreign representatives agreed to submit their awards to this fund)

1. Development of the activities of the women working group on health and safety which was proposed last year by Iran and was welcome by women from other countries

(This group emphasized on fighting corruption  in various financial, administrative and ethical forms)

1. Setting up joint virtual markets for exchange of products produced by women across the world supported by the customs office of the member countries
2. Agreement on specifying a location for establishing a bilateral market for women made products between the countries holding MOUs
3.  Holding bilateral ties with women ministers who took part at the congress with their peers in other Iranian ministries such as ministry of culture, trade, energy, interior…. , reviewing  bilateral proposals on social and economic and cultural fields
4. Supporting promotion of women’s knowledge worldwide by setting up an application to train women and support them in particular, the Afghani women

And the women at the congress expressed their support for the education of these women in Iran”
