In a meeting between Dr. Khazali and Iraq’s first lady it was discussed:
The need to hold the human rights watchdog by women worldwide/ fighting the efforts of the enemy in removing the identity of the Muslim women
Vice-president for women and family affairs met with Iraq first lady, Shanaz Ibrahim.
According to the public relations of the vice-presidency for women and family affairs, Dr. Ensieh Khazali, vice-president for women and family affairs met with Iraq first lady, Shanaz Ibrahim in Tehran and both emphasized on mutual cooperation in women’s areas.
In a meeting with Iraq first lady Dr. Khazali referring to the achievements of the international congress on women of influence which was participated by a number of Iraqi women stated: “We are pursuing to activate the agreements made in the areas of scientific and bilateral collaborations of women elites and academicians.”
During the meeting the issue of supporting the idea of human rights watchdog by women in different countries and also holding joint cultural programs and festivals was emphasized by the Iranian side which was warmly welcomed by Ms. Shanaz Ibrahim.
The vice-president in women and family affairs in a meeting with Ms. Shanaz Ibrahim, Iraq first lady stated that the economic exchange between the two countries in particular, the works and products of the women headed -households would help flourish the economic growth of the two country and would improve bilateral interactions for the growth and promotion of women.
The Iraq first lady also stressed on the many cultural commonalities between Iran and Iraq and said: “With regards to the multiple cultural and traditional commonalities between the two country it is just as necessary to raise cooperation in women and family areas.
She expressed her concern over the cultural influence of the enemy in the area of women and family affairs and emphasized on overcoming the efforts of the enemy that tries to distort the national identity of the Muslim women.
The Iraq first lady also met with the Iran first lady Dr. Jamileh Alam-Ulhoda, and both emphasized on increasing joint cooperation and the need to have cultural exchange .
president of Iraq Abdullatif Rashid who visited Tehran following an official invitation by President Ibrahim Raisi was welcomed at Mehrabad airport by minister of economy, Dr. Seyed Ihsan Khandouzi.
Iraq first lady Ms. Shanaz Ibrahim also accompanied the Iraqi president who was welcomed by the vice-president for women and family affairs, Ensieh Khazali.
