A team of Afghani women will be dispatched to Iran to benefit from medical training
Vice-president for women and family affairs expressed her happiness that during her meeting with the authorities of the neighboring countries it was agreed to dispatch a team of Afghani women to Iran for medical training.
According to the public relations report of the vice-presidency for women and family affairs the 26th meeting of the senior officials of the group 5 countries was held participated by representatives from Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Tajikistan with the aim of developing cooperation in the health system.
Dr. Ensieh Khazali vice-president for women and family affairs in the inaugurating session while referring to the two great blessings of health and security regarded women as the main pillar of health and security in the family and society and added: “The women should be prioritized in the policymaking and planning for health and hygiene since they work both as a pillar for the family, hence, their health and spirit would raise the spirit of the family and the entire society and they are also the nurturers of the other half of the society and trainers of a healthy and preventive style.”
She expressed her happiness that in her meeting with the authorities of the neighboring countries it was decided to dispatch a number of Afghani women to obtain medical training in Iran.
The vice-president recommended to establish a sub -committee on women’s health for the group 5 and the next session to deal with the health and treatment of women.
