According to the public relations the 7th meeting was held participated by Dr. Ensieh Khazali, vice-president for women and family affairs, Dr. Khadijeh Karimi, director general of the international affairs office and representatives from the IORA member countries.

While extending a warm welcome to the participants of the meeting Dr. Karimi presented a briefing on the activities of the last two years of the vice-presidency in line with the women economic empowerment of the IORA member countries.

She added: “Setting up of a national IORA committee, holding several external and internal meetings, bilateral collaboration with the IORA secretariat, drawing out areas of discussion on the joint problems of the women in the member countries including the works of the IRI as the head of the working group are some of the activities conducted in this regard.”

 The head of the IORA women economic empowerment working group by referring to the two -day programs of the international event said:  “Our effort is to benefit from the capacities of other working groups of the IORA in order to help empower women in the member countries.”

 It should be reminded that 19 representatives of the IORA member countries were present at the meeting.
