Vice-president for women and family affairs met with Ms. Fon Koli Bali, minister for promotion of women, children and family from Mali. The vice-president for women and family affairs met with minister for promotion of women, children and family in March, 2022. At the meeting the vice-president referring to the actions taken for the empowerment of women in particular, women headed- households said: “In the areas of medicine, health, and higher education the Islamic Republic of Iran has reached remarkable progress and in the areas of innovation, science and technology, nanotechnology, and biotechnology is now among the leading countries in the world. Hence, Iran is now ready to share its experiences with Mali.”

The mali minister also referring to the high level of collaboration between the two countries and the similar situation of both countries in terms of sanctions requested Iran to share its experiences with regards to countering sanctions. She also expressed her desire to visit Iran and hoped that her country would benefit from Iran’s experiences in education and training.
