Dr. Ensieh Khazali vice-president for women and family Affairs met with Ms. Dorothy Guajima, minister of social development, gender and women and special groups of Tanzania at the side event of 66th Commission on the Status of Women on 18th March, 2022 at the UN HQ.

At the meeting while referring to the good relations between Iran and Tanzania the vice-president referred to the activities of the Iranian women and some of their empowered areas in IT and declared readiness of the country for offering training to women and young girls of Tanzania and also skills training in micro- level industries. The Tanzanian side while describing the activities of its ministry which includes dealing with people with disabilities, women -headed households and gender related issues welcomed Iran’s recommendation and hoped she could become familiar with the abilities of Iranian women from close.
