Zimbabwe first lady visited Iran in line with joint bilateral cooperation
First lady of Zimbabwe visited Iran in line with initiating joint cooperation.
Ms. Auxilllia Manangagawa had meetings with vice-president for women and family affairs which was participated by many Iranian women entrepreneurs and elites.
Dr. Ensieh Khazali stated at the meeting: “The first common ground between us and Zimbabwe is resistance and steadfastness of Zimbabwe that managed to stand against colonialism and to liberate its country from the colonialists.” She continued: “An experience such as JCPOA for us and the breaching of contract by the US was also repeated for Zimbabwe the other common example is paying attention to family and women and the growth and development of women in the economic areas.”
Ms. Auxillia Manangagwa also said: “There is a good capacity in the political and economic fields between women of Iran and Zimbabwe.”
Adding that Like Iran for years Zimbabwe was also under the western sanctions of Britain and US and found its independence in 1980 and said: “Though we have good experience in the livelihood of women, education of children, families’ economy and training of women for better family health standards and development of industrial agriculture but still we have many backwardness and we should not deny the impact of sanctions.
The joint cooperation in agriculture, economic and cultural exchange were the most important areas of discussion between Dr. Ensieh Khazali and Zimbabwe first lady.
In her trip to Iran Zimbabwe first lady met with a group of women elites from different areas and visited some of the knowledge-based companies. She also took part in the meeting of the heads of prominent universities.
