Vice-president for women and family affairs meets with director general for department of women, youth and the disabled from South Africa
Ms. Mikatelo Malkuleh who visited Iran at a head of a high- ranking delegation to follow some of the joint interactions met with Dr. Khazali. At the meeting she conveyed the official message of the minister of women, family and the disabled of South Africa.
During the meeting the vice-president while introducing the vice-presidency for women and family affairs elaborated on the tasks and mission of this vice-presidency in various policymaking and support for women and family with the aim of preventing vulnerability among women and instead helping to empower women and family and to encourage population growth.
She added that one of the many supporting ways to prevent social vulnerability in particular, the issue of divorce is to offer counseling to the newly married couples, creating family- oriented sustainable businesses as part of the most significant programs of the 13th government for women and family.
Director general of South Africa described the activities and functions of their institution which works in line with facilitating activities and empowerment of the society. She reminded that one of the grave challenges in her country are poverty, injustice and unemployment among women and the youth and those with physical disabilities and welcomed the idea of exchange of experiences in common areas between the two countries. At the end, Dr. Khazali by introducing the idea of the Islamic Republic of Iran for encouraging women worldwide to fight corruption invited this country to join this effort.
