At the meeting Dr. Jamileh Sadat Alam-Ulhoda, (Mrs. Raisi), faculty member of Shahid Beheshti university suggested naming the association “Gowharshad,” referring that this is the name of a prominent Iranian lady who was a Persian queen and who had made important cultural impacts over 800 years ago and who made great efforts for developing the culture of peace and ultimately was martyred in this path. Currently one of the mosques in Mashhad is named after her and is one of the most popular places for visit.
