Tehran |Hosts 96 Influential Women from Around the World/ Getting to Know Iranian Women without the Western Impact
The first international congress on women of influence was held on Thursday 19th January in Azadi Parsian Hotel in Tehran with the presence of women from more than 96 countries with the speech delivered by Dr. Ensieh Khazali, vice-president for women and family affairs.
This international event hosted more than 300 foreign guests of influential women from China, Australia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Pakistan, Cameroon, Serbia, Armenia, Sweden, Bulgaria, Kirgizia, Algeria, South Africa, Lebanon, Syria, Russia, including 70 high ranking women officials from various countries as ministers, vice- presidents, and parliamentarians.
This congress was an opportunity for the influential women across the world to hear the voice of women in Iran without the western influence and to become acquainted with the status of women in Iran.
