The first international congress on the women of influence was held on Friday morning of 20th January, at the Summit Convention center with the official welcome of Dr. Ensieh Khazali, vice president for women and family affairs to the first ladies of different countries.

At this inauguration ceremony the first ladies of prime minister of Armenia, Burkina Faso, Kirgizia, the first lady of former president of Guyana, the first lady of former President of Niger, the special envoy of the first lady of Nigeria, the first lady of former president of Sri Lanka, and the first lady of the current president, the special envoy of the first lady of president of Syria and the head of the central council for Union of Turkmenistan Women were present.

The congress which was held from 19th January, hosted over 300 foreign guests including 70 high- ranking officials and women activists from different levels including, ministers, vice presidents, and women parliamentarians to hear the voice of the Iranian women without the influence of Western media.
