The inauguration ceremony of the first new year international games was held with participation of the deputy president

 The inauguration ceremony of the first new year international games for women was held participated by women members from 22 countries in 9 sports fields at Tehran Azadi basketball court.

At the ceremony Mohammed Mokhber, first deputy president, Ensieh Khazali , deputy president for women and family affairs ,Dr. Laleh Farhang Matin ,Deputy planning and coordination of the presidency for women and family affairs, Dr. Khadijeh Karimi, director general for international affairs of the women and family affairs, presidency and Maryam Kazemi -pour, deputy for development of women sports of the ministry of sports, Pouladgar and Kalhor  two deputies ministers of sport and other authorities took part in the event.

At the outset, Kazemi pour, deputy for women sports development of ministry of sport delivered statements on the significance of holding such games followed by Mokhber, who spoke of the role of women in social and sports competitions and social events. The final section of the ceremony ended with the parade of the athletes from different countries and the event was formally inaugurated.
