In the meeting between I.R. of Iranrsquo;s Vice-President for Women and Family Affairs and Serbian Minister for Welfare, Family and Demography:
The issue of population youthfulness is one of the principal concerns of all countries.
While meeting this evening with Ms. Darija Kisić, Minister for Welfare, Family and Demography of Serbia, in the Vice-Presidency headquarters, Dr. Ensieh KhazAli, Vice-President for Women and Family Affairs, provided a report on Iranian women’s progress in various scientific, sports, social and economic arenas during the several decades since the victory of the Islamic Revolution pointing out that “one of the important concerns of the world today is the issue of population youthfulness, and it is our duty to make arrangements in order for this issue to be realized as the greatest human capital”.
Mentioning some of the supportive initiatives of the 13th government in Iran concerning population youthfulness, such as offering facilities to families with quadruplets, insurance coverage for rural women, providing the costs of treatment of infertile couples and special privileges for women during pregnancy and breastfeeding, she notified that bilateral interactions lead to sharing of successful experiences and best practices of friendly countries in terms of population growth, which are welcomed by Iran.
At the beginning of this meeting, various issues related to women and family, including the reduction of household size in Serbia and European countries, were raised by Ms. Darija Kisić, Minister for Welfare, Family and Demography of Serbia, and the two sides discussed and exchanged views on their solutions and experiences.
