The 10th meeting of the IORA Working Group on Women's Economic Empowerment, chaired by the Islamic Republic of Iran and attended by representatives of Member States, was held virtually on Tuesday, 23 January 2024

At this meeting, Mrs. Fatemi, the International Affairs Advisor to the Vice President for Women and Family Affairs and the Chair of the Working Group, read the agenda, which the participants approved. Then, the work Plan was discussed, and member states presented their ongoing initiatives and proposals.

Mrs. Fatemi elaborated on our country's programs and emphasized the importance of member states' cooperation in effectively implementing the working group's program. She also thanked the members for their participation and expressed hope that, with the active involvement of member states, the 11th meeting would be held in person in Tehran.
