Mrs. Behrouz Azar elaborated on the process for selecting the Iran's representatives to the BRICS Women's Business Alliance during the conference, stating: "All economic and trade institutions nationwide were invited to nominate candidates. Simultaneously, a competency model based on professional standard was developed and implemented. Subsequently, the selection procedure was conducted through assessment centers with a focus on transparency, accuracy, and commitment to professional justice.
She added: "selecting from a group of empowered women entrepreneurs was a challenging task, since each candidate possessed exceptional leadership qualities, creativity, and social commitment. In the end, the final selections were approved by the specialized board and partner organization."
Emphasizing that these women must be able to identify and create new economic opportunities of themselves and all Iranian women and sharing these opportunities generously, responsibly, and with awareness, she noted: "Members of Iran's BRICS office in Women's Business Alliance must possess strong inner resilience and determination above all. They will likely face many challenges, but their compassion, responsibility, and altruism must be strong enough to enable them to share opportunities selflessly."
It should be noted that in the first panel of this conference, speeches were delivered by Iran's National Coordinator for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), Director of the First Africa Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Board Member and Vice President of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum, and Senior Coordination Officer at the IORA Regional Centre for Science and Technology Transfer (RCSTT).
This panel focused on international organization such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA), the Iran-Africa Summit, and available opportunities. Women entrepreneurs also discussed challenges, including effective engagement with organizations, establishing cohesive structures, and facilitating export-import processes.
A the he second panel the selection process for representatives of the Iran's BRICS office in the BRICS Women's Business Alliance was reviewed by Mrs. Fatemi, International Affairs Advisor to the Vice President for Women and Family Affairs. Then, Mr.Saber, the Advisor to the Foreign Minister and BRICS Affairs Director, elaborated on the BRICS's potential opportunities.
The conference concluded with introducing the members of Iran's working groups in the Iran's BRICS office.
