The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Women's Forum, themed "Women's Leadership," took place on June 26 and 27 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The event gathered representatives from SCO member states, international organizations, businesses, and civil society to discuss women's roles in politics, the economy, entrepreneurship, digital technologies, and international cooperation. They focused on increasing women's participation in public administration, supporting professional development, and expanding opportunities for personal and career growth. The Vice Presidency for Women and Family Affairs participated in the SCO Women's Forum in Bishkek, led by Mrs. Narjes Abolqasemi, Deputy for Strategic Studies.

Mrs. Abolqasemi delivered a speech proposing ways to enhance collaboration among women, such as forming a cooperation and entrepreneurship network, creating a digital platform for women entrepreneurs, and increasing training in digital skills and the knowledge-based economy. She emphasized that women's economic participation drives productivity, innovation, and community resilience, urging SCO members to boost women's capabilities for sustainable regional development.

Mrs. Abolqasemi also outlined Iran's efforts to empower women economically and socially. These efforts are grounded in the constitutional principles of human dignity and gender justice. She highlighted that Iranian labor laws prohibit gender-based discrimination in employment, wages, and working conditions. The Seventh National Development Plan (2023–2027) prioritizes removing barriers to women's economic advancement. Despite sanctions, she affirmed the government's continued commitment to women's entrepreneurship and the growth of home-based businesses. She highlighted Iranian women's achievements in education, health, science, technology, and innovation.
